QRY DAO

The QRY platform will have a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). The primary purpose of the QRY DAO is to support the development of the platform's components and fund community-driven projects. To kick-start the DAO, an initial minting of 120 million QRY tokens will be allocated to a Worker Proposal Fund after network activation. Governance of the fund will initially be managed by founding operators, but the goal is to eventually involve all relevant stakeholders, such as operators and developers.

An initial board, elected by the participants who initiate the DAO, will be tasked with setting up the governance structure and commissioning the initial deliverables through Request for Proposals (RFPs). These deliverables are categorized into Strategy and Operation, Product & Engineering, and can include aspects like white papers, tokenomics, legal structure, fundraising, project management, and more. The suggested list of requests include:

1. Strategy and Operation:

  • White paper & Tokenomics: Development of a comprehensive white paper detailing the platform's functionality and tokenomics model.
  • Legal Structure & Governance: Establishment of the legal structure and governance model to ensure regulatory compliance and effective decision-making.
  • Community & Business Development: Building a strong community of supporters, partners, and developers while fostering business relationships.

2. Product & Engineering:

  • MVP (Minimum Viable Product): Development of a functional prototype showcasing the core features of the QRY platform.
  • Project Management: Efficient coordination and execution of various tasks and deliverables across the development process.
  • QRY Engine: Creation of the core smart contract layer responsible for managing the platform's operations on the blockchain.
  • Proof of Availability: Implementation of a system to verify the availability and responsiveness of providers.
  • SDK (Software Development Kit): Development of a set of tools and libraries to facilitate the integration of the QRY platform with third-party applications.
  • Data Studio: Creation of a suite of tools for managing and visualizing data within the QRY ecosystem.
  • Provider Integration Spec & Reference Implementation: Development of guidelines and reference implementations for infrastructure providers to integrate with the QRY platform.
  • Testnet Operation: Launch and management of a test network to evaluate the platform's performance and identify potential issues.
  • QRY Explorer Reference Implementation: Development of a reference implementation for a QRY explorer, enabling users to view and analyze data within the ecosystem.
  • Documentation: Comprehensive documentation to guide developers, integrators, providers, and users in understanding and using the QRY platform
