Infrastructure Providers
Infrastructure Providers are independent teams running QRY Services and the necessary software to connect to QRY. This includes teams working on Blockchain infrastructure and traditional data APIs, but it extends to basically anyone with underutilized processing capacity and network connectivity willing to provide a service. For example, former GPU miners with idle capacity that can be allocated to AI processing.
Providers receive tokens based on query fulfillment and availability, following the Proof of Availability (PoA) mechanism. They stake tokens according to their expected service volume and revenue, which can be slashed in case of disputes or failure to meet minimum standards.
Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining QRY Nodes and Gateways to ensure network stability and data redundancy.
